Each term Earth and Environmental Science (EES) offers a field trip for students in all EES classes. We typically go to central Oregon to see volcanic features in Fall term, and to the Central or Southern coast in the Winter and Spring to see coastal landforms, surface processes at work, and fossils. We encourage all students to participate in these supplemental learning opportunities. In addition, Environmental Science courses commonly offer field trips associated with specific class activities.
