More than 60,000 members are inducted annually at regionally or governmentally accredited institutions. For more than 75 years, membership in Phi Theta Kappa has signified a singular honor and a willingness to embrace the Society's shared commitment to academic excellence.

Because of the growth of the two-year college and other associate degree programs, Phi Theta Kappa has experienced phenomenal growth in membership without compromising its standards. There are now over 1200 chapters internationally. Lane's honor society, Sigma Zeta, is extremely proud to be one of The Top 100 Chapters internationally and the top chapter in the region.
