MEMORANDUM AGREEMENT
BETWEEN
LCC and LCCEA
1. It is agreed that no current Student Services bargaining unit members will be laid off or reduced in FTE or faculty status as a direct result of the implementation of process redesign recommendations in the restructuring of Student Services.
2. Neither decision nor impact bargaining shall be required when changes in hours and working conditions are a result of the implementation of process redesign recommendations in the restructuring of Student Services so long as all affected Student Services bargaining unit members were involved in the decision making process and agree to the recommendations and the recommendations are limited in impact to these Student Services bargaining unit members among the faculty bargaining unit.
3. The Union's involvement in the redesign process shall not constitute a waiver of any bargaining rights which would otherwise exist under the Public Employee Collective Bargaining Act.
4. The College will timely inform the LCCEA, directly, in writing, of all committee recommendations for implementation. The Union will timely advise the College, in writing, of its desire to negotiate any recommendation. Bargaining obligations shall be fulfilled prior to the implementation of any such recommendations.
