Profile: Cheryl Lemmer is a Dance instructor at Lane. She grew up in New Jersey and began studying dance with company members from the Laura Dean and Alwin Nikolais dance troupes when she was 17. In 1976, she moved to Oregon and continued her dance studies at the U of O. Cheryl has been a choreographer and dancer with Briggs Contemporary Dance Company since 1996 and is a senior instructor at On Your Toes School of Dance. Beginning in the mid 1990's she has been a faculty member at Lane, teaching all levels of Jazz and MTV Dancin'. Cheryl has completed her certificates in both Pilates and Gyrotonics.
