The French Program at LCC offers courses in first and second-year French. We seek to provide students with ample opportunities to immerse themselves in the language. Therefore classes meet several times a week and instruction is entirely in French.

In the spring, we invite students to participate in an on campus weekend immersion experience worth two credits of second-year French. Students meet guest speakers from around the Francophone world, and learn about the rich diversity of French-speaking cultures.

Throughout the academic year, students can meet for informal conversation at the morning Café Français in the LCC cafeteria and occasionally at Le Cercle Français at a central location off-campus.
