Get Involved in Innovation
In the News - Spring Conference 2010: Research and Development @ Lane: Get Involved in Innovation
About 45 people attended the Spring Conference breakout session about the innovation process. The session provided an overview of the R&D Team currently being established as a mainstreamed expansion of the Strategic Learning Initiative (SLI). We reviewed the many ways Lane faculty and staff can participate in the R&D process. The Request for Proposals process for new, innovative learning projects was discussed in some detail. A brainstorming discussion on potential directions for innovation at Lane concluded the session. It is likely that someone in your work area attended and can share the overview information with you. We will be posting session inforamtion as it becomes available.
There are many ways Lane faculty and staff can participate in the R&D process.
- Become a member of the R&D Team
An R&D Team is currently being established. Membership information will be coming soon.
- Submit a Request for Proposal (RFP)
The request for proposals outlines the goals of Lane's new Research and Development process. This process, along with the Integrated Learning Center, are outgrowths of the Strategic Learning Initiative. All faculty and staff are eligible to submit proposals for systemic innovations.
Proposals are due to Adrienne Mitchell by May 24. If you wish to bounce ideas with members of the transitional R&D team, contact one of the team members listed below.
