Extensive digital collection of original photographs and documents about the Northwest Coast and Plateau Indian cultures; essays written by anthropologists, historians, and teachers about particular tribes and cross-cultural topics from parts of Alaska, British Columbia, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana. Maps that show traditional territories or reservation boundaries. Essays include bibliographies and links to related text. Konaway Nika Tillicum at Southern Oregon University places Native American youth who have completed grades 5 to 10 in a university setting to introduce them to educational and career possibilities. Students spend time with tribal elders and Native American teachers during classes, lectures, and outdoor presentations
