Regional:

• Ethnic Heritage Council
  Organizations work together to preserve and document ethnic heritage, advance cross-cultural understanding and inform about ethnic experience in the Northwest through festivals, workshops, meetings and publications. Includes info on awards and events, including annual world dance and music festival and annual awards dinner.

National:

• NAMA - National American Metis Association
  Place for the Metis people to gather, talk and learn about the fact of being Mixed Blood people. Includes newsletter.
• Project RACE - Reclassify all Children Equally
  Advocates for multiracial children and adults through education, community awareness and legislation. Main goal is for a multiracial classification on all school, employment, state, federal, local, census and medical forms requiring racial data. Includes census info, news, legislative and legal info, links, teen projects.
• Swirl - support for mixed community
  Provides support to mixed families, mixed individuals, transracial adoptees, and inter-racial/cultural/faith couples.
• National Advocacy for the Multi-Ethnic – N.A.M.E.
  Includes articles, profiles, and resources.
• Interracial Voice
  Independent, information-oriented, networking newsjournal, serving mixed-race/interracial community in cyberspace. Advocates universal recognition of mixed-race individuals as constituting a separate "racial" entity and supports initiative to establish a multiracial category on the Census.
