  • PCUN - Pineros y Campesinos Unidos Del Noroeste
    Del Noroeste (Northwest Treeplanters and Farmworkers United), is Oregon’s union of farmworkers, nursery, and reforestation workers, and Oregon’s largest Latino organization. Includes newsletters, links, student info, and legislative info. En espanol.

  • Hispanic Outlook In Higher Education Magazine
    Published 25 times a year. Each edition brings forth the significance of communication in academic circles, the importance of positive learning experiences, the contributions of both Hispanic and non-Hispanic role models, and constructive observations on policies and procedures in academia.   • El Latino de Hoy: The Latin American Newspaper of Oregon

  • Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities
    Represents more than 400 colleges and universities in the U.S., Puerto Rico, Latin America and Spain. Technical assistance workshops on available federal program grants and other resources and programs such as model college preparation and financial aid awareness programs and workforce development initiatives. Annual conferences and special events; internships, scholarships, college retention and advancement programs, precollegiate support, and career development opportunities and programs. 
  • National Hispanic Leadership Institute
    Integrates personal growth with formal courses of study. Includes conference info, links, bibliographies and book recommendations.
  • Chicano Humanities and Arts Council
    Consortium of artists, individuals and organizations dedicated to the preservation and promotion of Chicano/Latino culture.
  • National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials Educational Fund (NALEO Educational Fund)
    To empower Latinos to participate fully in the America political process, from citizenship to public service. Includes leadership programs, conferences, policy and research, publications, news and employment info.
  • Latino Issues Forum: A Public Policy and Advocacy Institute
    Produces high quality research, conducting community education forums, building coalitions, serving as a resource to media; and hard hitting advocacy.  Research, publications, and forums free of charge.
  • ASPIRA Association, Inc (Puerto Rican and other Latino/a youth)
    Devoted solely to the education and leadership development of Puerto Rican and other Latino youth. Includes public policy info and teacher's resources.
  • National Council of La Raza
    Major functions: capacity-building assistance; applied research, policy analysis, and advocacy; public information efforts; and special and international projects; Key strategic priorities - education, assets/investment, economic mobility, health, and media/image/civil rights.   • National Latino (a) Communications Center - media arts production resource center
    Supports, produces and syndicates Latino programming for public television.
  • Spanish Websites
    Includes annotated resources that specialize or feature information on Hispanic culture, issues, and news.
  • Hispanic America U.S.A.
    Contributions of Hispanics to the US. Includes fact sheets, documents, photos, and links.
  • The Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute
    Offers educational and leadership development programs, services, and activities. Well organized lists of links in many categories from the arts to public policy to technology to public affairs.
  • League of United Latin American Citizens
    Advance the economic condition, educational attainment, political influence, health and civil rights of the Hispanic population of the S. Includes Scholarship info.
  • The Tomás Rivera Policy Institute
    Nonprofit, policy research organization, that helps shape public policy by providing elected officials and community leaders with non-partisan research. Published 200 research reports and policy briefs addressing a wide range of topics – from immigration and education to technology and employment.
