  • Japan-America Society of Oregon
    Promotes business, education, and cultural exchange and enhancing mutual understanding between the people of Japan, Oregon and SW Washington. Includes events calendars, school programs, bilingual educational materials, bulleting board, and links.

  • Asian Reporter
    Features international and local northwest news and events with an Asian focus. Includes scholarship and events info.
  • Northwest Asian Weekly
    Weekly English newspaper. Includes youth section and names in the news.

National:

  • National Association for Asian and Pacific American Education (NAAPAE)
    Includes conference, publications, resource, scholarship, and newsletter info.
  • Conference On Asian Pacific American Leadership
    Educational and professional organization which has created both student-focused and professional development programs aimed at building leadership and public policy knowledge in the Asian Pacific American community. Info on summer institute.
  • Leadership Education for Asian Pacifics, Inc. (LEAP)
    Workshops and programs in leadership development programs, organizational development workshops, career management and diversity trainings.
  • NAPAWF – National Asian Pacific American Women’s Forum
    Addresses the concerns and increasing the rights of APA women and girls. Includes info on local chapters, news and events, and speakers.
  • Organization of Chinese Americans
    Advocacy organization dedicated to securing the rights of Chinese American and Asian American citizens and permanent residents through legislative and policy initiatives at all levels of the government. Includes scholarship and conference info.
  • Asians in America
    Mission is to be central source of information for all things of interest to people of Asian Pacific descent living in the United States. Includes news and organizational directories nationwide, employment section, calendar, and conferences and meetings.
  • Asian American Net
    Very extensive listings of links to organizations in various Asian communities, as well as world news.
  • The National Coalition for Asian Pacific American Community Development (National CAPACD)
    Network of local community based agencies including Asian Americans, Pacific Islander, Native, refugee, immigrant, low income communities nationwide that work to promote community empowerment through service, housing and economic development and organizing impacted constituencies. Includes info on Research and Policy, Professional Opportunities, Conferences, News, and extensive Resource list with links to Asian Pacific and Ethnic Studies Departments in the U.S. and Scholarships.
  • Southeast Asian Resource Action Center (SEARAC)
    Advances the interests of Cambodian, Laotian, and Vietnamese Americans through leadership development, capacity building, and community empowerment. Includes health network and info on online and imprint publications and videos.
  • The Asian Pacific Islander Organization
    Provides a forum for employees to exchange ideas, network, mentor, train, and add value to the agency by being a linguistic, cultural and ethnic bridge to our communities and other employee organizations. Includes conference information and links.
