    Includes introductory articles on Islam.
  • Muslim Educational Trust
    Educates about Islam to audiences such as local news organizations, public school teachers, other faiths; serves as liaison between Muslim organizations, Islamic Centers, and the community; publishes quarterly newsletter; operates full time and weekend Islamic school.

National:

  • The Center for Contemporary Arab Studies
    Focuses essentially on the Arab world--the region from Morocco to the Gulf. Provides access to government, the non-governmental policy-studies community, the media, and business as well as academia. Masters Degree Program in Arab Studies ( MAAS).
  • Arab American Institute
    Non-profit committed to civic and political empowerment of Americans of Arab descent. Extensive links with bibliographies.
  • ADC: American Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee
    Civil rights organization committed to defending the rights of people of Arab descent and promoting their rich cultural heritage. Includes info on legal services, education, and government affairs.
  • Arab Community Center for Economic and Social Services: ACCESS
    Human services organization committed to the development of the Arab American community in all aspects of its economic and cultural life. Provides social, mental health, educational, artistic, employment, legal and medical services. Extensive, well annotated links.
  • American Arab Chamber of Commerce
    Largest Arab American business organization in the country. Provides business referrals, member promotion, networking events, educational seminars, information exchange through newsletters and other publications, group health insurance, and many other benefits and services. Includes scholarship info.
