Dr George: For Youth and Family
Barbara Denny George, Ed.D. offers self-paced, online courses/adventures for children and adults, as well as classes for families and senior citizens. All courses have several links to explore regarding each activity with an average of 18 hours participation time. E-mail is available for questions and comments for participant and teacher interaction on a one-to-one basis. Each course will be online for 30 days per session.

Upon registration, e-mail name and course registration number to ceonline@lanecc.edu to receive course access passwords.

Caregiving: Planning for Aging Parents
The joys and problems associated with caring for seniors.

Science Made Interesting
Experience science that is easy to understand, exploratory in nature, and interesting too! For ages 12 to Adult.

Simple Machines
This online adventure takes a look at the lever, the wheel and axle, the pulley, the inclined plane, the wedge, the screw and other fun stuff. For ages 8 to 13.

Genealogy
What is Genealogy? How Do I Use the Internet for Genealogy? Course 1 An online course for persons new to Genealogy and/or the Internet.

Where to Find Specific Genealogical Information on the Internet - Course 2
Participants learn how to find the “unusual” and “miscellaneous” on the Internet.

Advanced Genealogical Research Using the Internet - Course 3
This online course gives specific Internet sources for a variety of needs.
