Dog Grooming - Basic Bath Set
Learn the basics of dog grooming including brushing, bathing, drying, nail care, matts, skin and worms, ear cleaning, home remedies, clipping the face, feet, tummy and tail. Your own dog's participation will be discussed at the first class meeting.

Veterinary Assistant Training
Vet assistants help Veterinarians and Vet Techs care for animals. This course covers the basics of pet grooming, restraint, sanitation, simple laboratory tests, scheduling, recordkeeping, disaster and holistic medicine and customer service. This class will include a field trip to Greenhill. Upon successful completion of this training course, you are eligible for an on-the-job learning experience (internship) through Cooperative Education (Co-op). Co-op courses are regular credit courses that cost the same as other credit courses and are eligible for financial aid. You may be required to pass a background check, drug screen and have current immunizations to be eligible.
