Beginning Yoga
This is where your journey with yoga begins. Learn commonly practiced yoga “asana” poses and how to practice them safely, honoring your own level of strength and flexibility. Guided Meditation
Yoga Nidra, also known as yogic sleep, is an ancient practice that is rapidly gaining popularity in the West. It can help unwind the nervous system, and is appropriate for both beginners and advanced practitioners. In a peaceful yoga studio, learn and practice this healing guided meditation through imagery, body scanning and deep relaxation. Course will also include restorative poses to deepen the experience. Vinyasa Yoga
Vinyasa literally means synchronizing breath with movement (flow) in Sanskrit. In this Intermediate level yoga class students will flow from one posture to the next while simultaneously connecting the breath with the movement. Various breathing techniques, postures (seated, supine, and standing), and tension-releasing exercises will be incorporated. Students provide their own yoga mats. Christine Hotaling is a Yoga Alliance certified and registered instructor.
