An Introduction to Computers

This comprehensive, hands-on course will introduce you to the basics of using your Windows XP computer and its related components. You'll get comfortable with Microsoft Windows as you learn how to work with a keyboard and mouse, how to create and save documents on your computer, how to work with multiple applications, how to save editing time by copying and pasting, and how to customize your own computer environment to fit your own style. Get a taste of common software applications and take a quick tour of the Internet.  Finally, you'll learn how to use the Windows Help function to guide you when you're on your own.  Book required.
