About the program
The Floristry Program is designed to give students comprehensive information of the floral design industry, management, retail skills and behind the scenes information. It is designed to give students a strong, basic foundation in the retail management as well as the hands-on skills of floral design. The Floristry Program consists of 102 hours of required classes and 24 hours of elective classes.
Students attend two classes each term over three terms. Evening classes are taught by knowledgeable and dedicated industry professionals in the field of floral design. Topics covered include: floral design history and trends, floral identification, arrangement pricing, customer service and conflict resolution.
Students gain valuable hands-on experience making basic, event and seasonal floral arrangements. Students take home practice arrangements after each class.
Upon successful completion of the 102-hours of required courses and 24 hours of electives, students are given an award of completion.

Estimated costs listed include all course work, tuition, fees, and floral supplies.
