![]() Jim Lindly |
In just a few years, local businesses and entrepreneurs will enjoy one stop services in a new, efficient and accessible location when the Lane Community College Business Development Center moves to the new downtown campus at 10th and Charnelton in Eugene.
This will be a wonderful place for
businesses and organizations to visit in
person, by phone, via Internet portal, or
by videoconference.
Until then, our premier services are available at 1445 Willamette Street, next to the Eugene Chamber of Commerce. including the SBDC, Employee Training, and eDev (formerly Lane Micro Business).
We provide advising,
workshops and programs
for businesses to start
up, grow, or become
financially sustainable.
Our customized
employee training
program will improve
your company’s
productivity and train
your staff in leadership,
customer service, safety,
and other workplace
skills. We also serve
micro-entrepreneurs
from all backgrounds.
If we don’t have the
resource you need,
we will refer you to
someone who does.
We maintain strong
partnerships with Lane County Chambers, Lane County, LCOG,
UO and OSU, Saturday Market, Florence
Old Town Merchants, Cities of Eugene,
Springfield, Cottage Grove, Veneta, Florence,
and Junction City, and the Olive Street
Incubator.
Dave Hauser, president of the Eugene
Chamber, says: “Lane Community College
does an outstanding job of providing a
quality workforce that drives economic
vitality for our region. At the same time they
provide excellent professional development
opportunities for our local business
community. The new downtown campus will
allow them to do an even better job.”
Let’s build it together.
