New programs: Fast Track to an automotive career
Accelerate your career with Automotive Service Technician training at Lane. Students who are seeking a high paying career can benefit from a partnership between Lane and local car dealers. What’s unique about this program is that employers will pick up half of the cost of training for students that they have selected or for potential employees that they will sponsor. This full-time, 33-week program helps students at every skill level.
Program benefits include:- Curriculum aligned with NATEF’s Automotive Service Excellence certification skills
- $5,000 sponsorships for students who are selected by participating auto dealers
- Up to $3,000 tuition stipends from Lane Workforce Partnership for eligible students
- 60 college credits can be applied toward the two-year automotive associate of applied science degree
- Off campus work experience
