Business Solutions are right next door
Do you want independence, freedom, and to be your own boss? Do you have an idea for a business? Are you already in business but need someone to assist you with the next steps? Two excellent resources are available to you in downtown Eugene.
One resource is the Lane Community College Business Development Center. The BDC is conveniently located at 1445 Willamette Street in Eugene. The center provides entrepreneurial assistance and education for all phases of business development, from start-up through sustainable growth. Classes and workshops offer practical information that can be readily blended with existing business practices. Experienced staff provide free advising and can assist with business plans, technology innovations, and more. Customized workforce training can be designed for employers. BDC advisors provide support and encouragement and will keep you on track.
The other resource is SCORE, “Counselors to America’s Small Businesses.” SCORE is located next door to the BDC in the Eugene Chamber of Commerce offices. SCORE counselors are experienced business people who offer their expertise through free, one-hour counseling sessions. There is no limit to the number of sessions. SCORE also conducts one-day seminars that cover business plans, legal issues, insurance, accounting, financing and marketing. The seminars are presented by people working in a specific field or by counselors who have previously worked in a particular field.
With Lane’s Business Development Center and SCORE, you will have access to the knowledge and experience of many advisors. Visit SCORE and the BDC as you plan the next steps of your business.
