The Community College Survey of Student Engagement (CCSSE) provides a much-needed tool for assessing quality in community college education. CCSSE results help colleges focus on good educational practice - defined as practice that promotes high levels of student learning and retention - and identify areas in which community colleges can improve their programs and services for students. All our work is grounded in research about what works in strengthening student learning and persistence.

CCSSE Highlights is a periodic publication that showcases how colleges have communicated survey results internally and externally; how colleges have used results to target areas that are worthy of celebration or in need of improvement; and provides examples of programs and practices that colleges have employed promoting student learning, engagement, and retention.

The National Resource Center for The First Year Experience (FYE) and Students in Transition has as its mission to build and sustain a vibrant campus-based and international educational community committed to the success of first-year college students and all students in transition.

Noel-Levitz - A trusted partner to higher education, Noel-Levitz helps campuses and systems reach and exceed their goals for enrollment, marketing, and student success.

On-Course Success Strategies - Here you'll find practical applications of the On Course Principles, developed by Skip Downing. Each strategy has the purpose of empowering students to become active, responsible learners.  The majority of these ideas appeared originally in the On Course Newsletter. Additional strategies are described in the Instructor's manual for the On Course text.  New ideas are added here weekly, so visit often.
