Faculty Spotlight: Cindy Cabrera-Bratton
The challenge of a lifetime
Cindy Cabrera-Bratton studied nursing at Lane Community College. Now she teaches here and calls it the best challenge of a lifetime. “Nursing is such an evolving profession, you constantly have to learn or you fall behind the curve.”
Cindy earned her associate’s degree at Lane in 1996 and then worked in an oncology and pediatrics unit. “The more I did in nursing, the more I loved it.” She went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in business management and a master’s degree in nursing. She began teaching at Lane in fall 2007.
