Meet The Staff:

Judith "Sparky" Roberts: Theatre Instructor  Music, Dance and Theatre Arts  Office: Building 6, room 133 463-5647 robertsj@lanecc.edu

Profile: Sparky Roberts is an all-round Theater artist who teaches teaching Intro to Theater, Acting, Improvisation, and Acting Shakespeare. She earned a B.A. in Psychology and M.F.A. in Acting from Brandeis University. Sparky is also a member of the National Association of Drama Therapists. Actress, director and teacher, Sparky founded the NewMime Circus Theatre Ensemble (1972-79) which was featured in Omni magazine. Her recent creative collaborations have taken her to Great Britain and Holland. She was on the "Tonight Show with Johnny Carson," performing a unique foot-puppet act which also appeared in books and magazines, and in "Ripley's Believe-It-Or-Not!"
