Si Qin Tao Li : Piano Instructor

Profile:

Siqin Taoli holds degrees in piano performance from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, the University of Nevada at Reno, and a dual master’s degree in piano pedagogy and accompanying from the University of Oregon. She has performed many public recitals and worked professionally as accompanist for the Shanghai Dance School and the Nevada Festival Ballet. In 1991 her performance with the Shanghai Ballet Orchestra of W.A. Mozart’s piano concerto K.488 in A major was broadcast in a rare television recital for all of Shanghai. She has won various awards for her playing and teaching including an Excellence in Teaching honor and Excellence in music research and scholarly activity from the University of Oregon. Siqin is currently on the faculty of the Oregon Festival of American Music. SiQin is an active member of Music Teachers National Association.
