The Lane Peace Center is founded on the understanding that peace is rooted
in social, economic, political, racial and environmental justice.
A major component of the Lane Peace
Center is the annual peace conference. These conferences
combine renowned speakers whose work touches on peace and justice with
educational presentations that focus on creating a peaceful and just society.
These events bring together educators, students, spiritual leaders, activists,
community members and political leaders dedicated to building a peaceful
society and nation.
