Lane Community College is establishing a Peace Center. We recognize that peace is rooted in social, economic, political, racial and environmental justice.
A major component of the Lane Peace Center will be the creation of an annual peace conference. The conference will combine renowned speakers whose work touches on peace and justice with educational presentations that focus on creating a peaceful and just society.  These events will bring together educators, students, spiritual leaders, activists, community members and political leaders dedicated to building a peaceful society and nation.
