The Northwest Corridor High Speed Rail Summit, will be here at Lane in the CML on March 9, 2010.  Greg Evans is coordinating this event with the City of Eugene, ODOT and others.  This will be the first conference of its kind to talk about the issues affecting the implementation of high speed/commuter rail from Eugene through Vancouver, BC.  Officials involved in transportation in Oregon, Washington, and British Columbia will attend.   Also, OSPRIG and ASLCC will have roles in the conference from the perspective of advocacy for sustainable transportation solutions.
