Using Students Supervised to Describe Annual Workloads

The Cooperative Education program uses this method to define the annual workloads of coordinators who are assigned to supervise Cooperative Education students in their work experiences.

Example:

  • In a department with an annual department workload of 171 students, an assignment to supervise 10 students results in an overload FTE of 10/171 or .058 FTE.
