Annual Curriculum Review

Departmental review of courses and programs occurs annually throughout fall term, in conjuction with Unit Planning and initiative applications for curriculum development funding.

The deadline for course approval for the following academic year is the January Curriculum Committee meeting. Departments are strongly urged to meet this deadline in order to meet registration deadlines and build sections for Summer term and beyond. All course revisions made after the January deadline will take effect the following academic year. New courses may be approved at any time, but only new transfer courses approved after the January deadline will be will be posted immediately in ExpressLane. Late course approvals will be incorporated the following academic year into the printed catalog and pdf version.

Late course changes (.doc) - departments proposing changes for immediate implementation after the annual curriculum cycle must show evidence the department will meet relevant conditions specified by the Committee.
