2012-13 Curriculum Review/Revision and Catalog Timeline

  • Sept 22 through Jan 12
Departments review and revise curriculum for programs and courses. September 12 through January 12 is the only time departments will have to update programs and courses that are to be offered during the 2012-13 academic year.

During this period, administrative check-ins with faculty (as appropriate within departmental culture) are helpful in keeping the process on track to meet the January 12 deadline. Divisional deans and administrators should allow adequate time for healthy departmental conversations: develop and distribute discussion and revision processes and timelines to faculty and program counselors/advisors by late September. For new programs and significant course revisions (defined as 25-30% change in content, addition of credit or contact hours, title or course number changes), please observe Curriculum Committee meeting deadlines

  • Thursday, January 12, 2012
