Procedure:     Veterans Educational Benefits

The Veterans' Administration is authorized by Congress to provide a monthly payment to eligible veterans and dependents who are enrolled in Veterans' Administration approved education programs. The benefits are offered as an inducement to veterans and eligible dependents to receive education and training that may lead to employment in civilian jobs. Lane Community College is accepted through the State of Oregon, Department of Education, State Approving Agency, as a qualified training institution for students eligible for Veterans' Administration education benefits.

The Veterans' Office is located on the first floor of Building 1, Student Services. Office hours are:

    7:45 am - 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm - 4:45 pm, Monday through Friday
    throughout the year, except for legal holidays and school closures.
