Procedure:     Salary Schedules: Adult Education

Adult Education instructors teaching reimbursable classes and who have 13 or more students enrolled in the class shall be paid from the following schedule:

    Step 1   $11/hour
    Step 2   $12/hour
    Step 3   $13/hour
Workshop fees may be collected from students to increase the salary schedule of instructors who teach reimbursable classes.

Adult Education instructors teaching nonreimbursable classes and who have 17 or more students enrolled in the class shall be paid from the following schedule:

    Step 1   $ 8/hour
    Step 2   $ 8.50/hour
    Step 3   $ 9.50/hour
Instructors will move up one step at the beginning of the term after they have completed 270 contact hours and 10 hours of inservice activity or after having completed 270 contact hours and gained consent of coordinator.

Instructors may receive prorated pay for classes with fewer than 13 students.
