Strategies of Success

Business owners connect with each other and grow their businesses when they attend the Strategies of Success program, facilitated by the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Lane Community College.

During the year, business owners meet in the classroom and with instructors for practical application of management principles in their businesses. Owners grow their companies by establishing goals and tracking successes, learning new marketing strategies and technologies, improving their
record keeping systems, expanding their professional network, creating employee policies and procedures, and discovering other resources available to them. As one business owner put it, "I've learned how to work at my business, rather than work in my business. There is a
big difference."
