Plumbing rough-in is 100% complete. The HVAC subcontractor is about 95% complete with their rough-in work. Drywall is about 65% complete. Painters are about 40% complete. About 85% of the casework has been fabricated. Suspended ceiling grid is about 10% complete. The two rooftop air handlers were placed on the roof and are being connected to the ductwork. The project is still within its original time schedule and budget.
- Sewer Lagoon Upgrade: Weber Elliott, the engineers hired by the college to design the Upgrade to the existing water treatment plant are continuing to prepare the Preliminary Engineering Report to be submitted to DEQ. The engineers have to reevaluate their calculations because of a change in the volume of material that requires treatment. Several months ago, in response to some discrepancy between in-flow and discharge volumes, the college installed a new flow meter on the in-flow line. The new meter readings show higher in-flow volumes than had previously been reported. These new volumes correspond more closely to the discharge volumes. The effect of the engineers reevaluation will be reported as soon as they are known.
