  1. LCC BOND ISSUE
    SCHEMATIC DESIGN PHASE COST ESTIMATE SUMMARY

  2. Architects Jim Lewis and Reid Anderson of gLAs Architects discussed and issued a summary breakdown of cost estimates from their consultant. The estimates show the projects to total approximately $3.4 million over funds available. Architects said that some of the estimate figures were high and contradicted their own estimates. Architects will be obtaining more estimates from another professional estimator and a general contractor.

    Bond Project Manager Paul Colvin issued and discussed a Main Campus Construction Budget Summary based on the estimates and BPM Potential Reductions.

  4. Nancy Nichols issued and discussed a Response Form regarding the Campus-Wide Schematic Display.

    1. Florence Center Project

    2. Paul Colvin presented the Florence Center Project for FMC approval. Project is currently in the Bidding & Negotiation Phase. Paul discussed and issued copies of the projectís floor plan. Committee approved the project as presented.

    3. McKenzie School Community Learning Center

    4. Paul Colvin presented the McKenzie School Community Learning Center project. Paul discussed and issued copies of the preliminary floor plan. Paul and Larry Warford will be working together to study an alternate plan that show the center addition on the other side of the gym. The study to include looking at circulation patterns to classroom and other areas without entering the computer lab area.

    5. Churchill School Community Learing Center

    6. Paul Colvin presented and discussed the status of the Churchill School Community Learing Center project. Paul issued a copy of the floor plan.
