WELDING TECH. PROJECT
January 24, 2000 Update
WELDING BUILDING:
Construction completion still is delayed by some county code issues such as seismic bracing of duct work, and because the contractor is still completing the exhaust system. However, the welding program was able to install a press break in the new facility. The press break is about the size of a UPS truck. Welding program and bond personnel also met with Lile NorthAmerican on Jan. 18 to plan moving. In spite of the delay, classes should be held in the new building beginning spring term 2000.
