October 16, 2000 Update
ENTRANCE TAKES SHAPE AT STUDENT SERVICES SITE.
The main entrance of the Student Services building is being defined to a greater degree by excavation of the ADA ramp and the stairway. As you drive by the construction site, on the right side of the main entrance you can see tiers being developed for the ADA ramp. Between the tiers and the concrete forms on the left is the location of a wide stairway. The concrete forms on the right of the main entrance are part of what will eventually be the plaza seating area, complete with benches and planters. As work on the plaza reaches greater completion, Dale Parnell Loop will be reestablished with clearly marked crosswalks guiding people from Lot B and the bus station to the Student Services building.
