July 31, 2000 Update
STUDENT SERVICES PUG MEMBERS TOUR FACILITY.
With floor plans in hand, members of the Student Services PUG dawned hard hats and went inside the building that will soon house their departments. In so doing, members were able to get a better sense of general spatial relationships within the building. In regard to construction itself, the Student Services building has had sandblasting done to the outer foundation wall in order to achieve a textured look that is congruent with established buildings on campus. Concrete slabs on both floors have been poured and roof decking has been installed on barrel-curved trusses. Steel beams that will support the sky-bridge between the Student Services building and the Workforce Training Center are being erected next to the Apprenticeship building.
