March 8, 2000 Update
Student Services:
General contractor, Chambers Construction, is busy with site work to prepare a staging area. Caution: the contractor has to open the gate to the now-closed portion of the old bus lane, but that does NOT open the lane to other traffic. This portion of the lane is for construction use only. In other work, bond, facilities and computer staff are working together to anticipate whether the college mainframe in the Business Building will be affected by shaking from possible rock removal or pad compacting next-door. The mainframe room has a suspended floor which may provide some shock absorption.
