SCIENCE ADDITION
September 18, 2000 Update
LOOSE ENDS WRAPPED UP IN SCIENCE REMODEL.
Bond team members, LCC trades, and Hyland Construction workers are in the process of attending to multiple, minor finishing details in the Science building. Finalization of ceiling tile installation has allowed cleaning personnel to step up their pace within classrooms and offices. Floors will be stripped and waxed as soon as all construction work is completed. Interior framing is 85-90% complete on the second floor of the West Addition. Insulation and drywall activities continue on the first floor; final painting is already completed in areas on the north side. The South Addition labs continue to gain greater definition and should be ready before winter term. Storage areas in the East Addition have been cordoned off with new walls. Window glazing continues around the building.
