SCIENCE ADDITION
September 5, 2000 Update
SCIENCE REMODEL LOOKING GOOD.
Furniture is in place with blackboards, white boards, and TV/VCR brackets installed in many of the remodeled rooms within the Science building. To insure a healthy classroom atmosphere, the HVAC system will be balanced and piping flushed this week. At the site of the new West Addition, parking lot paving activities have begun in the south lot. Brick and exterior finish work should be completed in time for scaffolding to come down on September 15th. On the interior of the addition, wall texture work is ready to begin. Framing of the first floor is complete except for the elevator/machine room. Second floor ductwork is all but complete with second floor framing underway. South Addition: Roof work is complete except for the installation of flashing. Brick work continues. East Addition: Durock is installed and ready for application of the stucco like material, EIFS.
