SCIENCE ADDITION
August 7, 2000 Update
SCIENCE REMODEL GAINS GREATER DETAIL.
Sheetrock installation, taping and texturing has been completed in the entire remodel area. Painting within the entire facility is underway. Floor coverings are on hold due to need for asbestos floor tile abatement that will continue through this week. Ceiling grid and light fixtures are currently being installed. The majority of casework is installed and ready for finish. At the West Addition, the first floor framing and ductwork has been completed. An insulating stucco-like finish is being applied to exterior areas that will compliment and finish those areas not bricked. Roofing is taking place at the South Addition, with elevation framing complete. Mechanical work continues. At the East Addition, mechanical work is complete and walls are currently being covered.
