September 12, 2000 Update
PROGRESS ON REMODELED AREAS CONTINUES.
The Center basement remodel is progressing quickly. Since sheet rock has been hung, texturing and painting are currently taking place. HVAC work will be undertaken this week. Permits have been secured for Modular #31, which will house the Culinary Arts program. Sheetrock has also been hung in this remodel, allowing texture work and painting to take place this week. HVAC work was completed at the end of last week. All gas lines have been installed and preliminary plumbing work is finished. Modular #30 will have demolition activates initiated this week as soon as ASLCC Childcare Co-Op equipment is moved. The remodel is expected to pose little difficulty since there is very little electrical, plumbing, or HVAC work that must be addressed.
