LTD Bus Station
October 10, 2000 Update
BORDER AT LOT 'A' PROVIDES EXTRA SPACE FOR NAVIGATION OF BUSES.
With the new bus station in operation, it has become apparent that the buses require a little more room to make their turns at the north end of the passageway. In order to better accommodate LTD's buses, a curb and planter at the southern end of Lot A will be removed and replaced with blacktop. While the sidewalk will remain, by removing the curb and planter in Lot A, an adequate turning radius will be established for LTD's buses thereby providing a safer traffic environment for all. In regard to the station itself, benches have been installed under the shelters and trash receptacles positioned along the plaza. Bike racks will be installed shortly.
