LTD Bus Station
October 2, 2000 Update
LTD BUS STATION A HIT.
As promised, the new bus station was operational for the beginning of fall classes. Buses are running on time and multiple bays designating differing routes clearly display bus schedules. While waiting for their buses, students are already congregating under the shelters and enjoying the company of fellow travelers at the sitting wall. Clearly, the permanent stop is providing an attractive and practical gathering spot from which riders enter and leave LCC's campus. Currently, brick masons are working on various aspects of sign holders and the clock tower. It is anticipated that the clock tower and permanent roofs for the shelters will be completed this coming January.
