Sewage Lagoon Upgrade

FORUM ON SEWAGE LAGOONS TO DISCUSS OREGON MILITARY DEPARTMENT PROPOSAL:
The Oregon Military Department (National Guard) is in the design phase of planning an armory to be constructed across 30th Avenue from Lane. The planners have approached Lane with a proposal to become partners in the upgrade of Lane's sewage lagoons, already part of the bond project plan. To facilitate a sharing of information about the proposal and community discussion of the issues, College Council has arranged two ways for people to participate:

*First, a face-to-face forum on Thursday, May 25, from 2:30 to 4 p.m. in FOR 308. Hear about the proposal from representatives of the Oregon Military Department and interested Lane participants.

*Second, a WebBoard discussion has been set up at: http://slint.lanecc.edu:8080/~lagoon.
To participate in the discussion, follow these steps.
  1. Go to the WebBoard Page (at the above address).
  2. Click New User (near the bottom).
  3. Add appropriate information in required fields.
  4. Click Create (at the bottom).
  5. Click More (at the top).
  6. Click Mailing Lists.
  7. Check appropriate list if you want to be included in the mailing lists.
  8. Click Save. At this point, you should be able to access the conferences (threaded conversations) in the left panel.
    Click on the plus sign to see what has been posted, and add your comments, either to the entire conference or to the specific comments.
    The WebBoard will create "strings" of comments automatically.
    You can see a preview before you post, and can add an attachment after the preview window.
    Attachments should be either in .rtf format or .html, for maximum dissemination.
  9. Click Logoff when you are finished.
