July 31, 2000 Update
BOND MANAGEMENT TAPS STUDENTS' OPINIONS.
The Bond Project Management Team is able to hear regularly from faculty, staff, administration, and board members regarding their thoughts about bond construction. The one sector that has been most difficult for bond management to hear from with any regularity has been the student population. Therefore, in order to tap into students' opinions, the bond management conducted brief interviews with students on the main campus. In order to provide a forum where students' opinions regarding construction activities can be heard by all sectors, the bond web site will, from time to time, provide quotations of various students interviewed on the main campus. This week, see what students think about changed location of classrooms, closures of parking lots, and the construction climate on campus.

"This building is interesting and has unique architecture. (Student Services.) For the growing community college, the expansion is going to be very efficient... The workers are diligent and haven't been a safety hazard to us." Rick, Psychology

"The Science building is going to be a good thing but right now I have to drive to Thurston to take my chemistry classes. It makes us excited for future students. We dealt with tiny rooms and not enough space." Tara, Nursing
"We both agree, it's a cool looking building - but it should have been in the shape of a molecule!" (Science/Math building) Cheryl, Dental Program
