HEALTH REMODEL
January 8, 2001 Update
FINAL COMPLETION OF DENTAL AREA EXPECTED IN APPROXIMATELY ONE MONTH.
With 95% of construction completed, the northern section of Health Tech's first floor looks like a dental hygiene and dental assisting educational facility. Multiple X-ray rooms have viewing panels installed, student lockers are in place, and LCC's carpenters are busy installing shiny white cabinetry throughout the facility. While 75% of floor coverings are complete, this week, vinyl is being laid down in the operatory area. Dental chairs will be delivered on the 15th of the month, with installation following shortly. Susan Tatar, the Bond Moving Coordinator, held a general moving orientation at the dental hygiene and dental assisting regular staff meeting this week. The orientation served to supply important information about packing, labeling, and moving office supplies and furnishings, as well as providing a milieu in which staff could get first hand answers to their moving questions.
