HEALTH REMODEL
November 6, 2000 Update
OPERATORY AREA OF HEALTH TECH TAKES SHAPE.
A significant space on the first floor of Health Tech is the operatory area where new dental chairs will be located. Under construction are two operatory lab stations that will be equipped with cabinets and sinks. These lab stations will be positioned so as to divide the eighteen dental chairs into three pods. In so doing, students and dental instructors will find that carrying out their clinical training or instruction will be benefited by immediate access to sinks and work surfaces, greater ease of mobility, and valuable access to immediate student/instructor interaction; all of which is facilitated by a configuration that centers around the lab stations.
