HEALTH REMODEL
October 2, 2000 Update
HEALTH TECH REMODEL CLEARS HURDLE OF MAJOR DISRUPTIONS.
If there was a report card for undergoing intense upgrading activities, the residents of the Health Technology building most certainly earned an "A" for the month of September. Electrical and water shut downs coupled with noisy seismic work could be viewed as a necessary major exam that had to be completed before the start of fall term. With the majority of major disruptive activities behind them, residents are more than able to conduct classes and regular activities as remodeling work continues. Currently, interior wall framing is fifty percent complete. Concrete pouring is finishing up this week. LCC painters will postpone painting of installed seismic structures until winter.
Questions and comments about any bond construction activity may be directed to 744-4154 or e-mailed to bond@lanecc.edu. All communication received will be regularly reviewed by the Bond Project Management Team (BPMT), the architects, and the Facilities Management Committee.
