HEALTH REMODEL
June 19, 2000 Update
Health Tech. Remodel:
BOARD AWARDS HEALTH TECH REMODEL CONTRACT to Essex General Construction for $681,000 at June 14th meeting. In addition to the base bid, alternates were approved for construction of additional offices and a fan motor upgrade. An alternate for HVAC digital controls is currently under consideration. Construction is tentatively scheduled to begin mid-July.
OCCUPANTS OF THE FIRST FLOOR OF HEALTH TECHNOLOGY are currently packing in order to meet a July 1st deadline for vacancy. Offices and/or classrooms for Culinary Arts, the Child Development Center, Early Childhood Education, Foods & Nutrition, and dental offices will be moved to temporary storage until respective locations are ready to be occupied.
